Every day I come across beautiful things on Etsy, it’s such an inspirational place and I’m always amazed at the things crafter and artists come up with.

If you’re the crafty type you’re going to love this Etsy shop:

Field Guide Design is a collection of jewellery and paper goods made by artist Darbie Nowatka.

Derbie was born in New Jersey and majored in graphic design, she now lives in New York with her husband, two cats, a bird, a hamster and a fish.

She’s inspired by geometry and nature.

I love her DIY geometric paper ornaments, they come in sets of 8 at t he price of $25

The templates come PRE-CUT and PRE-SCORED with strings attached for hanging. You have to add adhesive and fold together! Not too hard even for less crafty people like me J

They would look great as decoration for a modern Christmas tree or you can hang them from a branch that you can put in a flower vase.

Some of her jewellery pieces are stones encased in gold plated cages, packaged in beautiful colourful boxes.

I find the packaging almost as important as the item itself if I buy a present.

You can brows Derbie’s shop here.
